People who are allergic to dog fur shouldn't have to give up their dream of owning a dog. Fortunately, there are several breeds of dogs that don't shed, which works well with people who suffer from allergies. Not that any dog is completely shed free, but (unless hairless) the following dogs shed no more fur than the amount of hair a human loses each day. Non-Shedding Poodles
Poodles are smart, obedient, playful, and affectionate dogs that don't shed. Toy poodles, miniature poodles, and standard poodles have coats that when the fur does come out, it is caught in the surrounding fur. For this reason, poodles need a lot of grooming to keep them from becoming matted. Many poodle owners prefer to clip their dog's fur, making it easier to maintain. Clippings should be done every 4 to 6 weeks. Poodles are friendly, great with children, and make good watchdogs.
